AJBCWA Membership Overview

Platinum Foundation Membership

Platinum Foundation member ($10,000*) opportunity will be offered to nominated corporations to provide AJBCWA with start-up capital/seed funding (invitation only).

  • This is a one-off payment entitling the member to be identified as a Platinum Foundation Member for 5 years (while a member).
  • After the first year, the Platinum Foundation Member will revert to paying the relevant annual corporate membership fee while continuing to enjoy the Platinum Foundation Member benefits for the next 4 years.
  • Five (5) members from the same organisation can be nominated under the Platinum Foundation Membership.
  • Up to five (5) nominated members will be entitled to vote at the AGM.
  • Priority access will be given to Platinum Foundation Members for sponsorship opportunities associated with AJBCWA events.
  • Platinum Foundation Members will receive marketing and naming rights on all AJBCWA promotional material.
  • Platinum Foundation Members will receive introductions to cultural and social responsibility initiatives achieved through cultural connection.
  • Platinum Foundation Members will receive an entitlement to exclusive member invitation only opportunities.
  • Platinum Foundation Members will receive all other membership benefits listed on the website (see below).

*$10,000 is a one-off payment, after which the relevant annual corporate membership fee will apply.

Membership Benefits

  • High level networking with key representatives, government leaders and specialists/experts involved in the Australia Japan cultural and trade relationship and other members and supporters of AJBCWA.
  • At the discretion of the member, all corporate and not for profit incorporated entities will be identified by either name or logo on AJBCWA’s website (or if their preference, not at all).
  • o Members will be given opportunities to promote business between members through customised events tailored to individual member’s needs to promote member’s products and services.
  • Members will be able to raise their profile through increased visibility and awareness of business opportunities arising in Western Australia and Japan.
  • Members will be able to get information and advisory services: cultural induction, consultancy/referral services and resources information on Japan and Australia in cultural, social, commercial, trade and investment areas.
  • Assistance will be given to members to access connections and business opportunities that may benefit their businesses.
  • Members will get access to optional sponsorship opportunities associated with AJBCWA events.
  • Members will be given opportunities to participate in future trade mission programs.
  • Members will receive four (4) week free subscription to Business News and during that time access to various research and databases of Business News.

*AJBC (WA) Inc. is not registered for GST, so the fees are GST exclusive and effective as at November, 2021.

** Platinum Foundation membership fee applies for first year, thereafter, reverts to relevant corporate membership fee.

*** Individual membership, unless serving on the board, will be available for one (1) year only, after which the relevant corporate fee will be charged.
